‘Fortnite’ Season 2, Week 5: Where To Visit Shipwreck Cove, Flopper Pond And The Yacht

Fortnite

Epic

Fortnite has a new set of challenges this week for Meowscles’ Mischief, the next battle pass skin where we will decide his loyalty between SHADOW and GHOST in the next two weeks (it’s SHADOW, it’s always SHADOW). One of the challenges to get you some battle pass XP is to visit Shipwreck Cove, the Yacht and Flopper Pond.

So, where are those? I am guessing you know one of them off the top of your head, but in case not, I have made a map of the three locations for you to visit. No, you do not have to land there (though for some of them that may be easiest) and no, you do not have to visit them in the same match, although helicopters will make that possible.

Go here to see all this week’s challenges. Go here to see where to visit Coral Cove, Stack Shack and Crash Site.

So, to recap:

Fortnite

Epic

Shipwreck Cove â€" This is a cove at the very bottom left of the map that sits between the two giant mountains all the way down by the shore. There’s a good amount of loot there, but to get out, you will have to find one of the still-working boats to jet on out of there with your gear, otherwise, it’s kind of hard to get out on foot given how far down it is.

Fortnite

Epic

The Yacht â€" You know where the Yacht is at this point if you’ve played this season at all. It’s a giant boat in the top right of the map. Giant cat statue in it. You really can’t miss it. Just beware of the henchman shooting at you when you land there.

Flopper Pond â€" There are quite a few bodies of water on the Chapter 2 map, including lakes and ponds, but Flopper Pond is kind of in the middle of nowhere, so if you didn’t know where it was off the top of your head, I wouldn’t blame you. It’s almost exactly in the dead center of Holly Hedges and Salty Springs, and normally a nice, quiet out of the way spot to fish. That will change because it’s a challenge this week, so expect it to be a lot more crowded than normal.

This is one of the easier challenges of the week, as all you have to do is step foot in those locations rather than kill anyone, but it gives the same XP as all the others, so get on it. The second week of challenges have generally been harder, and you need 18 in total to being the Meowscles loyalty quest, and we’ll see what that entails soon enough. Stay tuned.
