The new chapter of the game has thrown Fortnite's seasonal content structure into some confusion; are we playing Fortnite Season 11, or is this Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1?!
Whatever it is, we're deep into a season that was intially expected to last 10 weeks - and players are looking ahead to what the next major update may bring.

During the previous iteration of the game, seasons usually lasted 10 weeks, barring a couple of seasons that went into 'Overtime'.
If Chapter 2 of the game was following the same format, the next season would have presumably begun on 23 December, just in time for Christmas.
However, developers Epic Games confirmed in a blog post that the current season will be extended until February 2020.
"With a new year comes new beginnings!" they said. "This year we've got even more content for you to unwrap, including new game features, free rewards and a live experience that you won't want to miss.
"We will be extending Chapter 2's first season into early February," they confirmed, "to prepare for all the new holiday-themed updates. Get ready for winter!"

The decision to extend the season by a couple of months was likely taken to give Epic's staff some much deserved holiday time over the festive period.
Launching a major new update can come with teething problems, and doing so just before Christmas - when the game's servers are likely to struggle under the weight of an increased player base - would put added strain on the workforce at a time when they should be relaxing with family.
What will be new in the new season?
With the next season of Fortnite some weeks off, it's hard to say exactly what we can expect when the update does drop.
We usually get a rough idea of what might be happening through large-scale in-game events that start to take shape a couple of weeks before the season's end, but with February in the distance, nothing has really come to the fore yet.
But of course, that doesn't stop us speculating, and if Epic were to follow through on some of the most requested new features from fans, the next season could have some interesting new additions.
One of the most popular requests from players is the reinstatement of patch notes.
Epic Games once released extensive lists of the changes made to the game through weekly patches, which gave players an in-depth look at what to expect once they fired up Fortnite post-update.

But since the start of Chapter 2, Epic have kept quiet on this front.
That's likely to keep a bit of mystery to the game; why give away all the cool new stuff, when players could have more fun finding and discovering it for themselves?
But fans haven't welcomed the discontinuation of patch notes quite as enthusiastically as Epic had hoped, and so their return would be a welcome one in the next season.
Something else that fans have been clamouring for is a quicker way to navigate the game's large map through mobility items.
Aside from boats and a few zip lines dotted around the playing field, there really isn't any way of getting around all that quickly.
The addition of some speedier vehicles, or perhaps some pickups that increase players' speed, would again be a welcome one.
And while we're on the subject of new items, some fresh weapons wouldn't go amiss, as the game hasn't seen any new ones since Chapter 2's launch.
Aside from that, you can expect the usual influx of skins, map changes and items to be present when the next season of Fortnite does eventually drop.
